Here is one of those signs which are as indispensable as they are beautiful and which contribute to Parisian charm, especially in center city. It would be a pity that a tourist who has gotten so close to Notre-Dame would loose his path...
On top of it all, the sign was crooked (it has been straightened since). This is Paris, the town most visited in the world.
I still believe that we should reconsider how the signs are disposed in Paris.
